When I'm playing streaming audio and clicking on any button or drop down menu (eg File-> Open
Location) causes a lag. Even stopping a current streaming audio causes a lag of 5 seconds.
Is this a bug ? I don't notice the same behaviour when playing local real audio files on my hard
disk. I wonder if this is something to do with SMP or threads or even gtk2 or something else.
Eg of above problem (bbc five live audio stream):
rtsp://rmlivev8e.bbc.net.uk/farm/*/ev7/live24/radio5/live/r5_tl_g2.ra
Also when I play something like :
rtsp://rmbcast.npr-na-central-us1e.speedera.net/alias_ashburn1_btn/encoder/rmbcast.npr-na-central-us1e/rmbcast_npr-na-central-us1e_mar132003_0735_45621.rm
I get get NO such problem i.e I can for example do Tools->Playback Statistic and choose all drop
down menus.
gcc version 3.3.3 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3_pre20040408-r1)
uname -a :
Linux linux 2.6.7-r0 #14 SMP Wed Jun 23 23:42:15 CEST 2004 ppc PPC970, altivec supported PowerMac7,2
GNU/Linux)
(the fault situation occurs on Realplayer 10 beta --
realplay-0.4.0.186-linux-2.2-libc6-gcc32-powerpc.bin).
Please note I'm not sure which glibc I use since I don't knowo how to obtain this information.
