I am a tech lead leading an application which transfers media to various
Portable media devices connected to the PC. We currently use the WMDM sdks
and support WMA, WMV formats and all the devices supported by the WMDM SDK.
We intend to expand the reach of our product by extending support to devices
which run Real Helix based solutions and to the real audio and video
formats.

 

Can any one please suggest a good starting point to do this, the solution we
are looking at would have the following.

*	Detecting connection of new devices
*	Enumerating of the file system on the device and displaying it on
the PC
*	Transfer of clear content and DRM content to the device.

 

I was wondering if we can achieve these using Helix \ HELIX DRM based
solutions
