[Helix-client-dev] Flash-based player?

I was sent here by someone at helixcommunity.org, so my apologies if this is not the proper place for this question.

In a conference call with some (Real) Helix sales reps, there was mention of a beta Flash-based player for Real Media content. I was told it supported limited codecs, but that such an animal did exist.

For various reasons (mostly related to user community not being able to install brower plug-ins, except for Flash or Sliverlight), I need to move away from the Real Player to a Flash-based approach. However, I have a Helix server and almost all of my media files are current RM (or a variant like RA). Instead of transcoding (we don't have original DV-AVI files for everything), it would be great to just be able to play the Real files in a Flash-based player.

Does anyone have any information on a beta tool ("Flash drop-in," as it was described) to do this? If not, does anyone else have a solution for an organization with Real files, but can no longer use the Real Player?

Thanks in advance.
