Port 22 seems to be fine on this computer, I managed to log in and get past 
step 13:

cvs -d :ext:myusername at cvs.helixcommunity.org:/cvsroot/ribosome co build

What I don't understand is why I don't see the 'build' folder in Windows 
command prompt/explorer, but I do in Cygwin.  If I don't see it in Windows, 
then does this mean that the next step; set BUILD_ROOT=C:\source\build will 
have no affect and is this why the command: build.py is not found?
