The only hard part is coordination between the developers. The source  
code itself is divided up into separate
projects. Once the main engine is ported each datatype can be worked  
on one by one.  Here is what I would
suggest:

o Both work on getting the main engine running using the mailing  
lists to coordinate their efforts, solutions they find
    and questions for us. This would mean getting the client core  
built (client_core target).
o Once the engine is built then the different plugins (codecs,  
renderers, etc) can be divided up cleanly with
     little overlap.

This is assuming that both are porting to the same OS.

If there is no access to the restricted code then someone will have  
to get my ADM64 box setup with
whatever OS and fix any problems. If the restricted code compiles  
already then we can just use the
build farm.
