I just tried playing some clips that I have been working with on the
binary version of splay (linux) that can be downloaded from the
community page.  It plays clips that my builds cannot.  I have made no
changed to splay at all.

Can someone tell me exactly how I would go about compiling that exact
version of splay on my system?  How do i set up .buildrc and what
choices do I build?  I believe that if I can get splay playing as well
as the binary version, a lot of my GUI problems will be solved as well.
