I managed to solve the _dynamic_cast error by switching to the 3.2 compiler 
for gcc.

However My custom vidrend code wasn't included in the build.

What target do i need to specify so that my code is included in the 
clntcore.so  file?

If I've got this all wrong, please let me know which .so file vidrend will 
endup in and what target I need to specify.
