[hxclidev] "Debug Assertion Failed with splay on windows 2000" Part 2
Greg Wright gwright at real.comIf you are going to link against the release distribution libs you should build release. There is a know problem mixing the two. For Window's it seems to affect only streaming but on linux it seems to affect all forms of playback. This only affects RA/RV content. --greg. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andre Sick" <sick at 3dwebtv.de> To: "Helix DNA Client" <dev at helix-client.helixcommunity.org> Sent: Monday, February 24, 2003 5:27 AM Subject: [hxclidev] "Debug Assertion Failed with splay on windows 2000" Part 2 > Hello, > > I build successful a helix client with the following settings: > > Build System (V2.1) > time: Mon Feb 24 11:45:34 2003 > outfile: build.out > branch: hxclient_1_0_beta_2002-12-20 > platform: win32-i386-vc6 > distribution/archive from: win32-i386 > build Type: debug > build options: > profile: C:\PHDC\ribosome\build\umakepf\helix-client-all-defines > copy target: debug > target(s): splay > > > Info: OS: Windows 2000, Compiler: Visual Studio.net, > CVS: WinCVS 1.2 Python: Python 2.2 > > But when I start playback on the command line, I get an another error > in dbgheap.c: > > Debug Assertion Failed! > > Program: C:\PHDC\ribosome\helix2\debug\splay.exe > File: dbgheap.c > Line:1044 > > Expression: _CrtIsValidHeapPointer(pUserData) > > To click Ignore is useless, because the program hangs. > To click Retry has the same effect... very bad. > > Any ideas?? > > regards, > Andre > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscribe at helix-client.helixcommunity.org > For additional commands, e-mail: dev-help at helix-client.helixcommunity.org > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscribe at helix-client.helixcommunity.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-help at helix-client.helixcommunity.org
