Hi all. After having some bad luck with getting ribosome working with
cygwin I am trying with Putty at the moment. I followed the (good)
instructions detailed at
https://common.helixcommunity.org/2004/devdocs/putty and after waiting
10 mins proceeded to Step 13 at
(https://common.helixcommunity.org/2004/devdocs/quickstart#putty_return)
.
 
Unfortunately I get the following result:-
 
C:\helplayer>cvs -d

Access denied
 
And yet - when I just type in the following everything seems ok:-
 
C:\helplayer>plink matthewjt at cvs.helixcommunity.org

matthewjt at cvs.helixcommunity.org's password:

Any ideas why this is happening? I am using CVS 1.11.20 on a Win XP
